Communications, Advocacy and Networking Unit (CANU)

This unit will play the fundamental role of public relations and management of NGOCC corporate image, documentation and knowledge management. NGOCC will, through this programme:

  • provide the appropriate channel and platform through which the core business of NGOCC programmes and interventions are projected to the public
  • manage information generation and dissemination including joint action advocacy by network members on women’s empowerment and gender equality.
  • enhance networking among member organisations and with other like-minded stakeholders, coalitions and social movements.

CANU is also a cross cutting unit through all the pillars in the strategic plan.
