Kwazulu Natal Women’s Caucus Pays a Courtesy Visit on NGOCC

The KwaZulu Natal Women’s Caucus (KZNWC) from the KwaZulu Natal Legislature in South Africa, paid a courtesy call on #NGOCC as part of a series of meetings with key partners on the welfare of women in Parliament. The call also sought to strengthen partnerships in promoting gender responsive governance at SADC level.

‎The KZNWC is conducting abench-marking visit to the Zambia Women Parliamentary Caucus (ZWPC) which is aimed at strengthening Inter-Parliamentary collaboration and knowledge sharing between the two women caucuses across the region by sharing experiences and strategies.

NGOCC and KZNWC committed to establish a partnership that will see the two parties collaborate on areas of mutual interest that will be premised on regular information exchange for the advancement of women’s rights. They also agreed to jointly share good practices to booster learning on women in politics and practical interventions to ensure an increase in the voices of women in the legislature.
