NGOCC in Five-Day SGBV Training for North Scribes

The Non governmental Gender Organisations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) is conducting a Five (5) Day media training for Journalists from thirteen (13) Radio stations in Luapula and Northern Provinces on Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV). 

The training is being conducted under the auspices of the BBC Media Action supported programme, Natwampane project on SGBV. The training has brought together 26 journalists from the 13 radio stations in Luapula and Northern Provinces. NGOCC Program Manager Chilufya Siwale and the Coordinator for Communication, Advocacy and Networking are facilitating the training in Kasama. The community radio stations participating include, Radio Mano from Kasama, Tuta Radio from Mansa, Yangeni Radio, Radio KNC, Luswepo Radio, Lutanda radio, Kasama Radio, Lubuto Radio, Liberty radio, Lwansase Radio, Luapula radioand Bangweulu Radio.
