CSOs Develop Framework for Engagement with Government

SOME Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), under the stewardship of Transparency International Zambia yesterday to develop a comprehensive engagement framework with the Government and specifically, President Hakainde Hichilema.
This is following President Hichilem’s directive at the last meeting with CSOs that regular meetings should be structured with the civil society to discuss various national issues.
Against this background, TI-Z convened a consultative meeting in Lusaka, to develop a comprehensive engagement framework based for the National Development Plan Clusters.
The framework aims to guide the solicitation of key CSO issues and further engagement with the Republican President in a coordinated manner.
NGOCC was part of this progressive consultative meeting in the quest to ensure the voices of women and girls are part of the broader discussions.
NGOCC remains committed to keep engagements with the government, as well as other stakeholders, in our pursuit of a fairer and gender-equal society.
